The worst is yet to come.

During the period (starting from year and half until 2 months ago) while the economist and all others at the Wall street have been claiming that the economy is good or getting better- recession, what recession?!), I was screaming, What, where, why, and HOW could they be so blind?
I have been repeatedly saying that the screwed up bad management of the Bush administration has not been fully felt yet. Guess what? I will keep repeating it until you realize how right I am and continue to be.
In my most recent articles I have even stated, “you have not seen worst yet.” That’s in the “What happened at the presidential election?” article and repeated similarly in the article ‘What do you think first quarter or 2009 will bring…?”
In fact in the article about the first Quarter of 2009, I clearly stated that Bush administration are holding a lot of true economical data from the media, investors and consumers. Therefore, when the true number comes up in the first quarter of 2009, whoever the new president would be, will feel the extreme tension. In fact, I even joked about it by saying, “the new president is going to pull his hair -Oh, I am sorry, they both look bald- I am getting there…J lol).”
Here we go, two (2) days after the general election, the Labor Department (one of the Bush’s administration) has revised the “employment report” for August and September upward by doubling the number of job losses. Bringing the yearly unemployment thus far in 2008 to 1.2 Million workers., What a shame. This is just the beginning. Then, GM and Ford come up with doubled up losses of Billions (B$4.2 for GM and B$3.25 for Ford) in the third quarter. So, this falling rock cannot be stopped other than by the hard ground.
Again, you have not seen the worst yet. Although, I do not think Obama’s team will have the full ability to take control of Bush’s mess, but did you notice that before the election he was also full of hip by saying, “I will do this and that and make everything work”. But, immediately at his victory speech, he said, “we may not be able to do it in the first 4 years.!!” I am not blaming the guy for already “changing” his words but, I agree that the mess cannot be resolved within the first two or three years. And I am not a fortuneteller. “It is the economy stupid.” I am sure you heard this before.
So, hold on tight good boys and girls, the roller-coaster ride is just beginning.
With Love and best wishes.
